The Cross Grid Rally (CGR) is a multi-region race event though the mainland of Second Life created by Will Szymborska.

"The CGR is a high speed escapade in style across Second Life®'s Mainland regions. Rallyers start in a linden mainland sim, travel hundreds, and party in all of them. Drivers are timed on 4 separate routes, and an unofficial trophy goes to the quickest driver! Of course CGR isnt just about being punctual, its about the journey and struggles of high speed rally driving. Along the way you will encounter SLeberitys, racing icons and grease monkeys alike. Its a big effin' party on wheels! Avatars drive all different cars, and are encouraged to go with a different theme, as they barrel up and down roads, highways and sometimes peoples front lawns."
