Formed in July of 2012, a new standard was formed by Will Szymborska of SZYM Motors to lower overall sizes of vehicles to a more realistic scale for realistically scaled avatars. It calls for changes to be made by January 2014 to all NTBI vehicle brands participating.

Previously, vehicle size was judged depending on all sliders for avatar size in "Edit Appearance" being at their maximum. In turn, vehicle interiors had to accommodate these over-sized avatars to prevent issues seen on products such as the LMD Sentinel where the drivers head could not fit under the roof line due to low interior clearance.

However, with newer mesh modeling techniques and the possibility of custom avatar seating adjustments hopeful on new products whenever they begin, building cars slightly smaller would have multiple benefits to consumers. These improvements include being able to keep road lanes smaller and theoretically allow role play regions to be bigger. Also, most drivers with realistically sized avatars could reach controls easier by default instead of animations being out of reach of drivers. For this initiative, the minimum average avatar height would measure 6 feet, 8 inches (roughly 2 meters tall).

Currently only SZYM Motors is participating in the initiative but these standards are to be addressed to other NTBI vehicle manufacturers as well.
